FOREST BATHING:
A SELF- GUIDED NATURE IMMERSION PRACTICE
I am delighted to share something I have carefully nurtured over time: A Self-Guided Forest Bathing Card Deck.


This heartfelt offering has been inspired by my lifelong relationship with the living world, as well as the many profound transformations I have witnessed while guiding nature immersion retreats.
What we have long sensed intuitively —that time spent in nature supports our well-being— is now strongly supported by a growing body of scientific research, affirming its many benefits for mind, body, and spirit.
Each card has been thoughtfully curated as a gentle invitation to enter into relationship with the more-than-human world — to slow down, reconnect with our innate belonging, and open ourselves to receive not only the restorative benefits of time outdoors, but also the wisdom it so generously offers.
These cards are also an invitation into reciprocity — a gentle remembering that our relationship with the Earth is mutual, and that when we tend this connection with care, both humanity and the living world are nourished.

The beauty of this practice is that is always available to you and no prior experience is needed. We can always lift our gaze to the infinite sky, find a patch of green to walk upon, rest in the stillness of a tree, or dig our hands gently into the earth.
All that is needed is the willingness to be embraced by the essence of nature —which already offers us a generous feast of nourishment and medicine: the air that gives us life, the living landscapes that regulates and restores our bodies, and a place of shelter we can call home.
